Kallee Gebers turns 5 months today

Kallee is already 5 months old. It seems like we had just brought he home a few weeks ago. She is growing so fast. She has no problem rolling to her belly. But still does not roll over the other way yet. We are working with her on that part. She is already 15 pounds, and she is very long too. I think she looks so good and happy most of the time.

Kallee and Alison went on their first girls weekend up to Chewelah and had a wonderful time. Janet was a wonderful host and everyone was impressed that Kallee did not cry much but was rather good natured, smiling and having a wonderful time. Of course if you know the the women in the family you can see why she was happy. We are blessed to be part of such a adventurous and joyful family who really really care about each other.

Kallee is a very good natured girl. Though when she came home she let me know that I was the one who got to listen to the cries because I am her father. That is my job.

Happy 5th Month Kallee and only one more month to go before real food... mmmm Rice cereal!!

Kallee Gebers and her penchant for standing.

My daughter Kallee wants to grow up and now. She wants to stand up all the time. She is 4 and a half months and yet she can almost stand on her own. And no, I have not tried to let her go to see if she can.

Kallee also has really strong legs and hands. She has a great grip and she is working on holding onto toys. Kallee is still enjoying time with Grandpa and Grandma Gebers. She is always in a good mood at their place and turns sour when Daddy has to take her home.

Since I last e-mailed I think she has grown another half an inch. That means the Outside Hitter idea is still in play. Dad thinks that Kallee might be a lefty so blocking on hand would be perfect for her.

Kallee does have so many of my facial features, especially the "you are annoying me" look. I love that look. She had a great smile and will talk t you if you talk to her.

Pa Gebers took her to the bank and said that 5 people tried to kidnapper... of course that is true. Who would not want the cutest most perfect daughter in the world.

Kallee and the new era with Grandpa, and her 4 month check up

Kallee is an amazing little girl. She is so adaptable and has a very easy going disposition... unless you startle her then you are going to get it.

Kallee is now spending days with Grandpa Gebers. It is been a blessing that my father said the he wanted to take care of our daughter. Kallee so far has enjoyed it very much. She has been a Angel for Grandpa and gives big smiles to all those around.

Kallee is having no problems with bottles and that is very nice. We were both really nervous as August ended, but everything has worked out great with the bottle.

Kallee is now having no problems rolling over to her belly, in fact she does it very fast. She wants to stand, but I have not as of yet let her do it on her own. My father and I watched as Dad held her and she started making walking movements lift her left leg then her right leg. That was very impressive. I hope she waits to start walking though until 09.

Kallee also got to go see Dr. Everett at Three Rivers Medical for her 4 month check up. She was 60% in head size (up from 35%). That means that her brain is just growing. Her weight was 14 pounds and 9 oz. (70%) and her height was 24 inches, (89%). She is definitely growing like a weed. Alison and I are very happy to have boo in our lives. She makes our family complete.
