A Kallee Boo's Christmas

Kallee is really a lot of fun. She is so cute the way she dances,, you can sing some notes and she will start dancing in the middle of the floor. She can only make you smile when she does something like that. Kallee loves her thumb still as it is in her mouth constantly and the finger then sneaks into her nose... such a cutie.

Kallee did well during the Christmas season as she smiled and was happy at all of the functions and loved having attention all the time.

Kallee got to see reindeer, ride a train, see lots of lights and got many presents. She got dolls from her grandparents and her cousins. She was blessed with clothes and toys. Santa came and left her a house to play with as well as blocks which she is very adaptable with. She has a great smile with the four missing teeth, it has style and class. Kallee was smiling a lot as she loves to be around people she knows and cares about.

Kallee loved Christmas eve with all of the Christmas Candy Corn and chocolate as well as the gifts and dancing with Grandma Lee. Kallee had a great time and almost burned her hair off as she tried to light the candle. Kallee also loved playing with Grandpa and Juice...

Of course she looked very lovely in her beautiful dress opening up presents on Christmas day at Nana and Papa Gebers House. She was losing steam by the end but she rallied after a quick nap.
Kallee is fitting pretty close in 24 month clothes except for the pants which are still a little big.

2009 Christmas was a big success with Kallee and she is growing up just the way she should... Strong, happy, opinionated, knowing what she does and does not like and making sure everyone knows it.

I love my daughter who is showing that she is a lot like me. I see so many things in her that tells me that I am looking in a mirror. I love when she sits in my lap with her thumb in the mouth and just saying to me daddy I am content right here. She makes me feel good and that makes me a very lucky father. My job Like my parents is to not mess up the wonderful life she could have but to make sure that she chooses the right path for her that will make her successful and happy.

This was a great season and a wonderful life.

Kallee and The Christmas Train

The Christmas Train
Jayden, Kallee, Alison and myself made trip this weekend to Toppenish WA, to play with trains. Not just a few trains, but many, many trains.
There were models of The Polar Express, the Hogwarts Train, and Many more. They have a set-up of an old sleeping coach and a caboose. They also allow you to ride on a train and see Santa Claus on another Train.
Here is a video of Kallee On the Christmas Train
This is a set of the Trains and Jayden watching them
We stayed there for a few hours and it was a lot of fun. Kallee did pretty well and Jayden definitely did not want to leave. It is close enough to the Tri-Cities that it makes for a very nice day drive and the kids are not totally bored in the car.
Kallee has done some very cute things lately. She loves to dance to the music playing on the Christmas Specials and two nights ago, she had a great time with her shadow. She was ducking down to make the shadow go away and then standing up and making its arms go in the air. She even started jumping with her shadow. It was like her own special friend. Her diet is consisting of mostly milk products but I am getting her to like the Gebers famous taco meat. I think that she is growing so much. She is decorating a Christmas Tree at the Lee?s and she loves looking at and touching the ornaments on the Trees.
Kallee has a simple rule right now about life. If something is not interesting the thumb will go in the mouth. If it is interesting or catches her attention, the there is no thumb in the mouth. So if she is by you and she puts her thumb in her mouth, she is telling you to either go away, or do something interesting. If she puts her finger in her nose while talking to you.. well you are no longer worthy.
She is as stubborn as ever and as happy as child can be. She loves being out at about and she makes me smile when I think of her during the day.

Kallee and November and October of 2009

November and October were hard and easy for Kallee. Kallee was sick on and off a lot with stomach and fever. She went through it like a trooper and near the end of November she is getting better.
I took Kallee to four different clinics and doctors and hopefully we have got everything under control. The year of the flu has not been a pleasant one.
Kallee is also becoming very adept at working with her Red Ryder. She is very good now at turning and moving with it and riding with her brother while he rides his bike. She is teething also and is about to have a full set of teeth in her mouth.
Her Vocabulary now includes; Mama, dada, nana, Jay-Jay, more, ba-ba, hey, hoooo, whoo, Hi, and a few others. She is still an expert of the non-verbal communication, working with her hands and her looks. She is fitting finally in to her 18 month clothes and might even start getting into 24 month? fingers crossed because I would like her to be tall enough to be an outside hitter/setter.
Kallee loves to travel and move around. She enjoys sight-seeing and is happiest in a stroller or a shopping cart. She does not mind being in the car anymore because she is on the move. She likes meeting people and new people but on her terms. She has to ?warm up? to people and then she is fine. Church has been deemed acceptable now to Kallee and she is letting us leave her there. So we can listen to the sermons, which is a good thing.
This Thanksgiving was very nice. Kallee ate some of the pie and other items but was still not fond of the traditional Thanksgiving feast. She does like the sausage from the stuffing and the Jello, but not much more? typical child. She also helped decorate, undecorated, and re-decorate the kids Christmas tree. Jayden and Kallee and Mommy did a wonderful Job. The Tree is in the office so that people who drive by can see it.
The next Part is included in both blogs (Kallee?s and Jayden?s) so you only have to read it once:

?
In a time and a season where joy and happiness along with stress and spending combine with a spice of reverence, a dash of love, and a whole lot of prayer and praise to the Lord is the time and place for Remembrance and Thanksgiving.
It was one of the best years I can remember. The kids have grown and have become little people. Kallee has been a huge blessing and has made life very enjoyable. She has so many great facial expressions that make me smile when I see them. Both Jayden and Kallee have been so much fun to take places because they love adventure. We have been so fortunate to have traveled to great places this year with the kids and family. Here are some of the best times and joyful places that I can remember:
? Thomas the Tank Engine in Hood River
? Being on the Boats of the Hawaiian Chieftan in Pasco
? Easter at Both Grandparents
? Kallee?s First Birthday and the LadyBug Cake
? Jayden?s Birthday and the Pin the Tail on the Thomas the Tank Engine
? Bar-B-ques and playing at the water parks
? Lake Chelan?(even being sick they were so cute and fun)
? My 40th Surprise birthday (Alison that meant so much to me, thank you)
? Vegas (What happens in veags,, unless this year and you are the Youngs)
? The new classroom that Jayden is in, the apple tree room and the excellent teachers
? Miss Tara with both Jayden and Kallee
? Halloween and the awesome costumes and the bundles of Candy Jayden came home with.
? Thanksgiving with Family
? The times that Jayden and Kallee have spent with their Cousins? they are great with our kids and make Jayden and Kallee very happy
? The ?Should have been a No-Hitter? 1-hitter with Dick
? Our Summer Lunches at Roxy?s Diner
? My father?s tender love and care for our daughter.
? Both sets of grandparents for all they do for Jayden and Kallee
? Boyd and Emily inviting us over for fun and water play and 4th of July which was great this year except for the fireworks.
But the best, very best part of the year was going to the beach and the Zoo. I do not think I could have asked for a better time. The kids were so in awe of everything and loved walking around and enjoying the scenes. The Zoo was exciting, the Beach was calm and restful and Seaside provided so many fun things to do including, trains, merry-go-rounds, visit to the doctor, the very lovely suite and all the amenities, the beach, which really was so fun watching Kallee dig and Jayden running in and out of the ocean, the food, the taffy, the old time soda, the overall feel of a true vacation. When you can go on and trip and when everyone leaves thinking that they could stay a few more days,,, that is a true vacation. So many great memories this year? so much fun, 2009 was one to remember.

Kallee pics

These are some of the pictures from Halloween. We did a corn maze and trick or treating and playing with cousins. Kallee loves candy, candy, and more candy. The stickier the better.
She loves to make a big mess every time she eats...

I will hopefully be able to take more pictures and write more during the holiday season.

Kallee's Trip To the Doctor

Here are the Stats taken at the doctors Office

Height 33 1/2" 93%
Weight 22 lbs. 14.5 oz 29%
Head circumference 47 cm 64%

She was so much easier to take to the doctor compared to Jayden. Of course Kallee hated the shot and thought she was going to die.

She is so dramatic in everything she does,,, it is what makes her very lovable.

The Fall of 09

The fall of 2009 has been very fun and rather dismal at the same time.

Kallee is growing very well and she has her 18 month appointment today. Her communication skills are magnifying and she gets her points across very well.

She uses her hands and gestures for what she wants or who she wants. She has said words like hi and bye and hey and J-J (Jayden) and Momma and dadda,, and baba... She also grabs your hand when she wants something.

Kallee likes to play outside and go for trips now. She was not the best traveler early on. But now she loves them and wants to go to new places. She is also getting into riding her red rider bike and she and her brother ride together in the driveway almost everyday.

The tough part has been that she has been sick a lot these past two months. We have had to stay home a lot with her with the flu and other virus problems. She has been a trouper thought and is finally getting healthy.

Which is good because it was Halloween this weekend and we had a wonderful time. Kallee was a LadyBug (pics to come soon). She dressed up and went to Grandma Gebers house and then did some trick or treating. She did great going up and getting the candy. She LOVES sweets,, we have to watch that. Her favorites are fruits and licorice, ketchup and bar-b-que sauce. She will eat her veggies and she is much more interested in pasta type dishes, much more than her brother. She has no problem mixing up all her food and eating, unlike her separatist brother.

She does not mind getting into your personal space, rather she enjoys being close to people. She throws the best tantrums, screaming and crying and throwing her face into the floor and kicking.

Her favorite things to do are to go for walks and play with her brother. She loves to be chased and she likes to suck her thumb with one finger in her mouth.

She has started the tradition of tearing her boarder off the wall,,, just like her brother, so we had to move her bed away from the walls. She is also a very good helper with the laundry, placing clothes in the washer and dryer.

She has been a blessing in our lives and I know that both Alison and I, though as tired as we are, would not want it any other way.

Kallee Boo-Boo's has added joy to our lives.

The end of a summer

The end of the summer was a sad one. After tussles with the 3 foot rule with Kallee in which I eventually lost. I found myself not wanting to go back to work. I enjoyed the summer with them. There were those "days" of course, but overall Kallee and her brother made it a lot of fun to hang out with them.

Kallee is starting to use more words like hi and bye and JJ and daddy and mama and others. She uses her fingers and grunts a lot to convey her messages. She tells you when she is hungry or thirsty or needs to sleep. She tells you when she wants something and she loves to smile and flirt with others.

She is a happy girl.

Kallee likes to sit at the table now with the rest of the family to eat. She does not want to be in her high chair anymore.. preferring to hang out at dinner table in a chair too big for her.

But she is doing pretty well and she eats a lot more now so we are trying to get used to it.

Kallee is also getting used to going to Children's Garden. That is a good thing. I am hoping that over time she will stop crying when mommy drops her off.

The good news is that she has a teacher there that had Jayden and was very good to him and so she is in good hands. I also think that she is becoming friends with some of the girls in the class. That is great.

She is also growing too. She is in a 6.5 shoe now and I think that she is getting a bit taller. She does not fit well into the 18 month clothes size wise, but give her some time.

There was a lot of give and take during the summer and I think that is going to be the theme for Kallee's life. She decided that traveling was not all bad and will only throw a tiff on the way home for the last 45 minutes or so, preferring to sleep then watch shows. I allow her to climb all over me which she likes.

She loves to walk in the stroller, but does not ever want to be locked in. Restaurants are still a huge chore with her as is diaper changing time. She still pesters her brother with no mercy, but he is used to it now and lets her play with him sometimes.

I know that I do not get to see her until the afternoon everyday but when I pick her up I get a little bit of sunshine when she smiles and waves.

My Kallee Boo Boos... a good summer

Kallee's Vacation to the Zoo and the Beach

Kallee is definitely getting bigger. She is not fighting the trips so much anymore because she starts towards the door when we start saying things like bye bye... and Time to go. She definitely understands a lot and I am staring to talk to her like she is a teenager already. She is a great communitcator with her facial expressions and also with her pointing abilities. She can tell us alot so far and that is nice to see. With Jayden sometimes it was hard to understand him. With Kallee no chance, she TELLS you what is wrong..

Like any "teenage" girl, Kallee is showing great social skills. She loves saying hi to people and giving them her thousand dollar smile. Kallee loves to be out and about and likes to talk to people. She also loves to talk with food in her mouth. She is still a garbage type eater, loving to put her food on the ground first before eating it.

Kallle liked the Zoo but LOVED the beach. She loved the sand and destroying anything her mother tried to create. She was happy and could have stayed on the beach all day. She also loves the stroller and just strolling along. She is not much on the stopping and definitely hates sitting in one place for too long. The hotel suite we got was awesome. It was Two bedroom place with a full kitchen and two baths and a living room with great view. It was in Seaside called the Rivertide Suites... http://www.rivertidesuites.com/ If you want to go to Seaside it is great for a two family or like us Grandparents and us.

We got to eat great food in Seaside and they had so much to do for the kids... Plus who does not like Saltwater taffy... good stuff.

I talked with a licorice connoisseur like myself and found a great tasting black licorice... good stuff.

Kallee loves Kukabura brand Licorice... so that is great with me.

Kallee also took a nice fall in her stroller and now is sporting a nice shiner under the eye, scrapes on her chin, lip and nose... but of course she hides the pain well under a smile.

As far as a Vacation goes,, it was the best.,.. thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Lee as well as the Gebers Grandparents... it was something that none of us in our family wanted to stop. We could have stayed there a few more days easily and not been done. It was a grand adventure..

Kallee and her August Checkup

Kallee has had a tough week.

First she has issues when she eats foods with a high acidic content. Daddy gave her orange juice and some other things to eat and with the heat and all the past week. She developed one of those very painful rashes. So we creamed the diaper and her little bottom and stayed up with her until 2 so that she could get over it. She is on the path to recovery.

She has also had trouble with inanimate object as she has a huge bruise on her chin from a firetruck and then got a nice big lump on the head from a table. But she has shaken both injuries off like a trooper and is still running around with Jayden and her cousins.

Next came the shots from the Doctor's office. Alison says that the Doctor laughed when she Kallee's new trick of putting a finger in her nose her thumb in her mouth and her other hand in her shorts. She says everything is okay there and not to worry.

One her 15 month check up Kallee was ar 21.12 pounds and that is in the 20-25th percentile. She is about 33 inches (2ft 9 inches), which is above the 97th percentile. That is AWESOME. One hand outside hitter her she comes. I hope that she grows into an stud athlete but more important is that she grows into a very happy girl. Then everything went bad again for Kallee as she got three shots... But she shook them off and had fun at the Park with Madeline, Jayden, Jonah and Dawson.

Kallee also spent time with Grandpa Gebers again and both seemed to flow seamlessly back into their old form. Their is a great connection between My father and Kallee. Of course that does not mean that they still do not fight over Kallee's love of the phone.

Grandma and Grandpa Lee also have made Kallee's spring and summer so nice. They are so great with the camera and are taking videos and pictures and making movies so that we will always be able to go back and see our children and cute little critters. Thank you so much for all of your efforts. Here is a video of Kallee's Summer and Spring with the Lee's.

Kallee and Jayden hanging out at the Lee's

Hi ya'all . . .
What a nice surprise party tonight; we just enjoyed every piece of it and all your special friends! Good job, well done - Alison.
I just discovered a little brown bear and blue and white blanket in Jayden's bedroom and it's a little late to make a phone call. So sorry! Jayden was so sound asleep that he was the last to get ready - so although everything else probably made it home, the essentials for Jayden's sleep did not. How sad - after such a nice evening.
I'm enclosing a couple of photos just for fun.
Be in touch soon, I'm sure.
Love . . . Mom

Kallee Boo's trip to Lake Chelan

Kallee got her first trip to Campbell's Resort in Lake Chelan in Washington. It is a beautiful Resort for the Up and coming or the already made type people or with people who have connections. Like my wife... It started out rough as I think Kallee was screaming and crying for most of the first night. But as Kallee and Jayden got acclimated to the new room and area, things went much much better. They played in the sand and Kallee, made people smile at her as she waved at them and told them hi,,, she got used to the lazy life as she put her feet up in her stroller and while being pushed around. when on the beach they would both like to move though the problem was that they were moving in opposite directions. But most people did not mind Kallee going through their stuff or their shoes or their purses... because she was so cute and smiley they would just smile back.
I got very sick and that is when Captain Alison came to the rescue and took the kids for walks and rides and to eat where the staff at Campbell's were very very kind to Kallee and kept her entertained. They would say hi to her and she would wave back... It was a rough start but turned out to be an awesome trip for all... But I believe that both Kallee and Jayden were ready to get back to their own rooms and beds... Kallee made it the whole time without losing it in the car which is a good thing too.

Kallee's teeth coming in has been a big pain...

Our poor daughter has been having some issues with teeth lately... Kallee seems to want to bring them in all at once.. She has had a tough few days... but is getting better as we speak.

The many of her molars are in and her incisors are moving up as well. She is also learning to slide down the slides at the park and loves to spend many a night crawling all over daddy.

She is definintely making Jayden her best friend whether he wants to be or not. He is fine with it as he takes good care of her and lets her play with his trains any time she wants.

Kallee is still small for her age,,, but what she is missing in height she is making up in gumption. She makes me smile alot so far this summer which has make for a pretty nice summer so far.

Kallee Boo's Trip to the Grandparents

Kallee was very fortunate to get to spend some time with the Lee's on Saturday. Grandma and Grandpa said that Kallee was an Angel, which makes us very happy.

Here is a video of the is day created by Grandpa Lee... Yea...

Kallee Boo-Boo's at the Lee's

Thank you so much for caring for the children. They loved spending time with you two.

Kallee Boo's newest imitations

Kallee is a very good imitator. She is learning to blow her own nose... she blows then rubs her nose really hard. She also repeats a lot of what her brother does and she says dad-eee and bye-bye... She can also say jay-jay. She is going to be telling us what to do in no time.

Kallee is also bring in her molars and that is making her very sad. I think that she will be very happy when all of her teeth come in.

Kallee and I got to spend some good time together while Jayden had his last two days at school. We bought shoes and went to lunch and played a lot. She likes to sit on the couch with me and stare at each other.

She is definitely more social then Jayden. She wants to be around people all the time. Not necessarily being held mind you... but around you. She went to the softball game and just enjoyed being around people and people watching.

So far so good for the summer time.

Kallee Boo Boo's Latest Thoughts

So Kallee has taken a liking to anything that Jayden Likes. Jayden drinks out of a sippy cup... Kallee wants a Sippy Cup. Jayden wants to play trains.. Kallee wants to play trains.

We have replaced formula with whole milk.. No more expensive powder for her.

Kallee is still having issues at church. She likes to move slowly into new places. That is okay, it is different having someone who is cautious versus someone who just plows through life head on. She likes to sit on your lap in new places and then start wondering around looking from the side before digging in.

Kallee also likes music, we have a little toy piano that plays nursery rhymes. She likes to push the buttons and then dance by moving her legs up and down then going in a circle. It is very cute and she lights up with the biggest smile.

Kallee also was fighting a rash at the beginning of May, but it has cleared up. I know the poor girl is going to have issues with the heat and this is my fault, with my genes getting in the way. But it is good that I know what to do... and how to attack it.

She is a fun little baby and I am hoping that the summer brings on more adventures for Kallee.

Kallee's Day at the Doctors

Just got to work. She had a good doctor's visit, although not pleased at all with the shots. Nothing like Jayden in that respect. Crying probably lasted 5 minutes. She was 29 ?", (54%), 19 lbs. 12 oz (27%), and head circum. of 45.5 cm (63%). A little different from Jayden. I think he hit 20 lbs by 9 or 10 months. She fell asleep on the way out of Richland. I thought for sure, she'd end up awake and grumpy, but she fell right to sleep at your parent's house. I'm guessing that she'll sleep a big chunk of the day.

Kallee's 1st Birthday

Kallee Gebers turned 1 on April 29th and we had her birthday on Saturday. She was very happy to see her cousins, Madeline, Jonah, and Dawson... She was also very happy to see Grandma and Grandpa Lee as well as Grandma and Grandpa Gebers. She got to eat Hamburger and watermelon and other items which she somewhat liked.

Pictures of the Party

The kids played very well and had a good time. Kallee decided that this week was a great week to start walking and she was all over the place. Kallee made the rounds going outside and watching the others play. You can tell she is ready to be with the big kids. Madeline did a wonderful job being her escort.

When it came time to open presents, Jayden was very happy to see all of the presents, he thinks a few were for him... but we have told him that he cannot ride the red rider anymore.

Kallee also got a drum which she really likes, and some great summer clothes as well as a musical computer and a DVD player. Kallee was most happy just to sit and enjoy the presents... meaning sitting on them and enjoying the center of attention. The cousins and Jayden did a great job opening the presents and Dawson did a wonderful Job cleaning up the mess.. She also got a walker/stroller for her doll, so she can someday play mommy.

When Cake time came there was lots of mess.. This came as no surprise. But the big surprise came later when she threw it all up on Grandma... Sorry about that.

Kallee did go to sleep happy and content... one year down.

I remember many things about this year

Bringing her home
Kallee getting the heat rashes
Her rolling in over fast
How I had to take her to Alison's work twice a day
My Father spending the year with her with help from his wife
Her first bottle finally in August
Her smile
Her first Christmas and Thanksgiving
Her refusal of Baby Food, and food processing by my wife and parents
How Jayden did not knowledge her existence until a few months ago.
Her wanting to eat what you have and her habit of putting everything in her mouth
Her hatred of being surprised
Her love of loud noises
Her head snuggles
Her biting of her crib
Thumb Sucking and Finally
Her First Birthday

Her is to Many More Birthdays and times to love...

Kallee is 1

At around 8ish this morning, Our lovely daughter was born to us at Kadlec Hospital. It was right now that I was helping to clean her up and check her vitals. Kallee was so small and was very content after a good crying fit.

Alison got to hold her at around 9 in the morning and then proceeded to get sick. Kallee was a gift and one that keeps on giving.

We love our children and thank god everyday for blessing us with the gift of life and love.

Kallee Boo Boo is walking

Of course, she walks only when she wants to walk. Neither of my children are "performers". Meaning they are not going to do something just because you want them to. No, they like to do their thing in their own sweet time.

That is fine with me. I like that they have the presence not to conform to others.

Kallee is very happy and she seems to like walking so far. She did it a week or so before her first birthday. She still crawls a lot loves to go up and down the stairs. She scooches backwards and slides down with ease. Jayden is getting used to her being around and I believe that he has decided that she is a good thing.

Kallee is eating well, she eats only adult food, so we have a lot of baby food left on the counters.

Her Birthday is Wednesday so I will have more this week.

Kallee my daughter and her life right now

Kallee never did take to baby food. She loves "real" food. My father showed me that peeled grapes are one of her favorites. So I have been peeling them. She is also eating veggies and some meats.

She has been eating very well lately so that is good.

Kallee has also mastered the stairs. She can go up and down them with ease and loves to roam around the house. She has already figured out that she owns everything in the house and she should be allowed to play with everything. She has been told no-no a lot more than Jayden was. Kallee also is pretty close to having all of the front teeth in. I know that Jayden was much more of a drooler than Kallee is. Kallee rarely drools, but she is not a binky baby either. She is much more of a thumb sucker... it is pretty cute. Her poor thumb gets so red...

Kallee has also gotten Jayden to accept her and even play with her. That was perseverance, but she is pretty hard headed.

She is a very happy girl and it is close to her birthday. Her first birthday. It is coming fast and the first year will be over. It was a good first year and we are happy that Kallee decided to be part of our family.

Kallee is taking steps to a new life

Last night Kallee took her first "real steps". The past few weeks Kallee has been moving her feet and learning to stand on her own. February saw her pull herself up and March is seeing her hold her balance. I have been trying for a few weeks to get her to walk but she likes to "fall" into my arms. Last night she took a three and six step walk. The trick is to get her to concentrate on what she is holding and she goes. She is very happy right now... laughing and playing with her brother. She is smiling all the time.

Except when I have had to put eye drops in her eye. I have to trick her or Alison and I both have to force her down. She came up with Conjunctivitis. Other wise known as pink eye... But my father and mother caught it early so she did not get a bad case of it. She is still on the drops but for only one day.

Even thought it is the 11th month I am saying that Kallee will definitely be walking around by her 1st birthday... Not as fast as Jayden,, but maybe too fast for her parents...

Happy Valentines Day Kallee Boo

Kallee boo has done so much in the past month. She is now in full borne crawl stage... She can move and move fast. I have even watched her crawl all the way up the stairs. Alison was not as happy to let Kallee crawl the stairs by herself... but how else is she going to learn.

Kallee can also pull herself up from the ground and loves to walk with our help as much as you will let her.

She is also again eating up a storm. She loves bananas and eats puffed treats. She has had Carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, pears, avocado, and a few others that I cannot remember right now.

Kallee also had one of the worst weeks ever. Kallee got an ear infection, then got sick with the flu and diahrea, then it got so bad that we had to take her to the emergency room. But she took like a champ and came out very strong and very hungry.

Kallee also had her 9-month appointment. Kallee was found to be 34% at her weight and 44% in head size and 97% in height. That is what I am talking about... Outside on hand hitter... Boom and kills and yes,...

I may come out of retirement to coach her.

So it is Valentines day and I though I would tell you why Kallee is one of my three Valentines this year.

Her face, she has so many expressions. She will tell you exactly how she feels about anything and everything. She has no problem telling what she likes and does not like.

Her laugh, her smile, the way we stick our tongues out at each other.

The way she loves to be with other people. The way she loves her cousins and how much the care and love her.

The way that my father has connected with Kallee. Kallee and Dad communicate so well. My mother and father have made our lives so easy and have made Kallee's first year very special.

I love my daughter and cannot wait for more great memories to happen.

Kallee Decides that food is good

Kallee has always had a strong will and knows what she likes and dislikes. At 6 months Jayden was ready for food and consumed it like wild fire.

Kallee was not as impressed with food. In fact she downright refused to eat. She would lock her jaw and move her face so that you were not in her line of vision.

These past few weeks... Grandpa and Nana Gebers have taken it upon themselves to work with Kallee and show her how good food can be. They started by processing carrots and low and behold Kallee started eating them. They have moved on to sweet potatoes and have feed her applesauce as well.

Alison introduced Banana's and BINGO!! We have a winner. Kallee is now a food lover... I could not feed her enough this past week. She is up to a half of a banana.

I think the thing is, she does not like baby food... I concur, I was not a fan of it either. Peas were also a tough sell.

Thank you for Grandparents who are willing to food process!!!

Kallee is also very much into the mobile stage. She has learned how to push herself up into a sitting position and so desperately wants to walk.. I believe that she will use anyone that she can to help her move around. I have pulled out the walkers to help her move, but last night proved unsuccessful. But Kallee and I will try try again.

I think this week is going to be sqaush and avocado's.

Go Food!!

Kallee Christmas

Kallee's Christmas was complete success.. Kallee may not have known exactly what was going on, but she definitely made out well. Kallee will be dressed well and will sleep comfortably in hew new clothes and Jammies. She may not love many of the toys she has now, but maybe someday. Kallee loves her brothers toys more. I think that Kallee did love to be around family. The Lee's and Rocky, Maverick and Dana Made Christmas Eve very special. There was a lot of joy and fun in the air. Kallee even made it till 9 o'clock that night... very late for her.

Christmas day brought more present opening, but as usual Kallee was much more interested in watching Jayden and his antics. She loves his trains and cars, especially when they are in her mouth.

Madeline was her best friend on Christmas Day at Grandpa Gebers as she took care of Kallee and helped her with her presents as did Jonah and Dawson. All the kids were so much fun to watch opening presents and playing with the toys. The food was fantastic and the whole season was wonderful.

Kallee is definitely growing at a fast pace. She has spurts of growth as I like to call them. She is now a moving fanatic. She tumbles and rolls and army crawls her way all around the house. She loves to have you hold her up so she can walk. She cannot hold her self up yet but she is getting there.

Kallee is also a real trooper. She was hit with a fever and cold and took it very well. She is not much of a complainer and is VERY strong willed. Just watch her try and eat....

Kallee makes me laugh and I can see so much of me in her. What a great present for me and Alison this year.
